Using NomadFX

These terms apply to your use of the NomadFX app and related services. By using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and respect the rights of other people. If you do not agree, stop using the app.

Currency information

Exchange rates, historical charts, converted prices, and tax estimates are for general information and planning. Rates may update on weekdays and may differ from the rate offered by a bank, card issuer, merchant, or payment provider. Taxes, fees, spreads, and rounding may affect actual amounts. Verify any amount before making a financial decision. NomadFX does not execute currency trades or transfers.

Trips and shared content

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, including expenses and settlements. Trip balances are calculations based on that information, not records of completed payments. When you invite others to a shared trip, they may see and edit information according to the app’s sharing controls. Obtain permission before adding another person’s information.

Safari extension

Website prices and optional sales tax estimates shown by the extension are estimates. A merchant’s checkout total controls the purchase. Website formats can change, and the extension may not identify every price correctly. Review the original price and final checkout amount.

Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features to improve the app or respond to technical or legal needs. Features depend on device compatibility, permissions, network access, and third-party services such as Apple iCloud and the rate provider.

Ownership and acceptable use

NomadFX and its design, software, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the app for personal purposes under the license that accompanies your download. Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the app or its services.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of every rate, conversion, receipt result, or trip balance. Receipt scanning uses on-device recognition and may miss or misread text. We are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on estimates or by inaccurate information entered by users. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
